Pamela Harris-Young
Principal

Ms. Harris-Young has 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with expertise in sales (training, management, operations)... marketing... and senior-level leadership of the sales organization. She excels at:

  • Creating and developing top-performing sales teams
  • Building a performance-based culture
  • Assuring sales teams align with the corporate vision and mission
  • Devising strategic sales plans for all levels of the sales organization
  • Ensuring effective execution of sales plans to fulfill corporate objectives.

Since 2010 Ms. Harris-Young has been a Principal at Visight Associates, a consulting firm specializing in the healthcare industry. In this role she provides strategic input and coaching to numerous industry clients worldwide.

She is a well-regarded and highly successful executive that has held positions in marketing, training and sales. She has held Vice President of Sales positions with Bristol Myers-Squibb, Pharmacia (now Pfizer), Novartis, Novo Nordisk and Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals. She has led numerous sales teams ranging from several hundred to more than two thousand individuals. For the majority of her career in the industry, she led strategic planning, drove strong sales results, led organizational realignment and change initiatives, built bench strength, and created innovative staff development programs.

Harris-Young, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the College of New Jersey, has also completed executive courses in Strategic Sales Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Michigan and Northwestern University. She is a member of the Women's Impact Fund of Charlotte, NC and the Healthcare Business Women's Association.
